Quality Specialist

F/T Quality Specialist will perform specific administrative tasks in support of Quality Assurance (QA) and Corporate Compliance activities and projects and provide general administrative support for QA and Compliance programs.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Scans, names, and uploads documents to client electronic medical records and performs quality checks at each step of the workflow.
  • Conducts audits of client medical records to evaluate the presence/absence of required items, quality of record contents, and proper and effective use of evidence-based practices.
  • Assists in implementing QA and Compliance tools (e.g., satisfaction surveys, risk assessments)
  • Provides medical record review reports to management.
  • Assists in implementing and evaluating QA and Compliance activities and projects.
  • Assists in collecting and interpreting data in support of QA and Compliance initiatives.
  • Completes implementation monitoring protocols for new QA and Compliance initiatives, projects, policies, and procedures.
  • Provides general administrative support and performs other related duties as requested.

Job Requirements

  • Experience scanning and uploading documents to an electronic medical record.
  • Excellent computer skills, including intermediate level Excel skills.
  • High School diploma and two or more years of relevant experience.
  • Experience processing medical records or performing medical record reviews/audits preferred.
  • Experience with quality assurance activities or projects preferred.
  • Associates degree and one or more years of relevant experience preferred.
